About this board

What this is

An independent job board for the climate sector, operated by Zero Limit. It lists live roles at organisations working to decarbonise the economy — currently 288 roles across 79 organisations, from carbon removal to clean energy and climate finance. The company list is curated by hand; the roles themselves are never entered manually.

How roles are sourced

An automated pipeline reads each organisation's own careers site — across the applicant-tracking systems these employers use — deduplicates the results, and refreshes the board daily. Nothing is entered by hand: if a role appears here, it was live on the employer's site when the pipeline last ran, and when a role closes there it disappears here on the next refresh.

Every listing links straight to the original posting. Applications happen on the employer's site, through their process — this board holds no CVs, no accounts and no candidate data.

How companies are ordered

Roles list newest first, and keyword search is ranked purely by relevance — neither is ever for sale. The company directory is alphabetical.

From time to time we editorially spotlight organisations — for a launch, a partnership or a hiring push. A spotlighted organisation appears in the Spotlight section of the companies page, leads the home-page logo wall, may take up to two of the six “Latest roles” slots on the home page, and comes first among roles posted on the same day. A spotlight only ever lifts: it never hides or demotes anyone, never changes what a listing says, and never affects search results.

The spotlight can also follow a published scoring policy rather than a hand-picked list. A policy may weight only these things: a company's directory tier, whether it is editorially featured on the board, its sector classifications, its focus-area categories, how many roles it has open and how recently it posted a role — nothing else, and the same rule applies either way: a score only ever lifts.

Privacy

The site sets no cookies. Analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless, collect no personal data, and exist only to show which roles people find useful.
