<h6>Production Technician</h6><h6>Engines and Aircraft</h6>Greenjets is building the next generation of propulsion and autonomous aircraft technology. As we scale from development into repeatable production, we are looking for skilled Production Technicians to help manufacture the engines and aircraft systems that will power our products.This is precision production work. You will build repeatable, high-quality sub-assemblies to final tolerances, following controlled processes, engineering drawings and clear quality standards.Depending on your experience, you could work across engine assembly, mechanical systems, aircraft structures, propulsion hardware or final integration.<h6>What you will do</h6><ul><li>Build mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for engines and aircraft</li><li>Assemble components accurately to defined tolerances and specifications</li><li>Follow engineering drawings, work instructions and controlled production processes</li><li>Use hand tools, measuring equipment, fixtures and production tooling</li><li>Complete torque-controlled assembly, fitting, fastening, bonding or sealing activities</li><li>Inspect your own work and maintain accurate production records</li><li>Identify defects, discrepancies and opportunities to improve the build process</li><li>Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Production colleagues</li><li>Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workplace organisation</li><li>Support the transition of new products into stable, repeatable production</li></ul><h6>What we are looking for</h6>You may come from aerospace, automotive, motorsport, defence, precision engineering or another regulated manufacturing environment.We are particularly interested in people with experience of:<ul><li>Precision mechanical assembly or fitting</li><li>Engine, gearbox, drivetrain or rotating equipment assembly</li><li>Aircraft structures, systems or mechanical integration</li><li>Building repeatable sub-assemblies to final tolerances</li><li>Reading engineering drawings and following detailed work instructions</li><li>Using inspection and measurement equipment</li><li>Working within controlled quality and traceability requirements</li></ul>Formal qualifications are useful, but practical capability, attention to detail and pride in your work matter just as much.<h6>You will thrive here if you</h6><ul><li>Care deeply about getting the build right</li><li>Work accurately and consistently, even when production is moving quickly</li><li>Raise problems early rather than working around them</li><li>Take ownership of quality at every stage</li><li>Are comfortable working within defined processes while suggesting practical improvements</li><li>Put the mission and the wider team ahead of ego</li></ul><h6>Why Greenjets?</h6>Greenjets is a fast-growing British technology company developing advanced propulsion and autonomous aircraft systems for defence and aerospace applications.You will join at a point where products are moving rapidly into production, giving you the opportunity to work on technically demanding hardware, influence how it is built and see the direct impact of your work.This is an opportunity to build real products, at pace, that matter.Please apply even if your experience does not fit neatly into one category.
